  Guns: Opinions?

  my mom isnt a big fan of guns, but after being mugged once, she appreciates the value of a well placed firearm.

  she doesn't mind that i hunt and go to the shooting range regularly with my father.

  about 6 months ago, i was out in field service with my mother and an elder's 2 daughters.

  I agree.But then many posters have a completely American-centric (fantasy?)View of recent European History.Didnt Walesa start the Ball rolling in the late seventies with Solidarity in your Country?

  Also dissatisfaction was expressed as early as 1956 in Hungary..with sporadic uprisings between then and 1989 in all of Eastern Europe.Only the Romanian one was extremely bloody.

  in the uk a car program..top gear... is running a poll to find out what the number one driving song is....so thought we could do the same.... you know not the best for deliberately driving under a truck.

  yes, friends, the almighty french have redeeemed themselves as they resoundly reject the european union constitution ... and because french socialism is proving a dismal failure, not unlike its soviet communist counter-part, their cronie president, jacque chirac, has resigned.

  yes, sir, it looks like a new "pro-american" frenchman will become the next president of france.

  which means that the french are willing to take some serious risks, ( get some big brass balls in american-ese) and align themselves more with capitalist usa.
